Demystify fundraising, connect and accelerate female entrepreneurship

A one-stop shop to help with starting and scaling a business

Men in the UK are 5 times more likely than women to build a business of £1 million+ turnover.

What has been holding us back?

Funding

Business networks divide on gender and historically substantially more men have been entrepreneurs and investors. As a result, women are often excluded from critical business networks that contribute to entrepreneurial success. Capital flows more easily into companies led by men. The consequence is that businesses launched by women receive 53% less capital than their male counterparts.

Family Care

Women are twice as likely as men to mention family responsibilities as a barrier to starting a business, but flexibility around family care is one of the top reason to start a business for women with children.

Network and Support

Women have less access than men to other entrepreneurs, sponsors, financial education, mentors or professional support networks.
